Question... Why are all the images taken at my session not in the gallery or on the CD?
Answer... I take a couple of hundred images at each session, depending on the length of the session. Many images are taken at a session that are very similar in pose, composition, and lighting. There are also some images that have eyes closed, are a touch out of focus, or are test shots for lighting, etc. I cull (sift through) all images taken at any given session and pick the best ones. I then pick the very best of those, while keeping in mind how many images have been promised with the particular session that was scheduled. A full session guarantees 30 edited images and a mini session includes 5-10 edited images. For mini sessions, I often include in the gallery double the amount of images promised to the client (if there are extra quailty images), so they can purchase more if they wish. I do not edit all images from each session as that would include hours of extra editing time which would require me to increase my prices and lengthen the time it takes to have the gallery complete and ready for viewing. I strive to offer my clients the best custom photography experience at a reasonable price and within the quickest timeframe possible.
I trust this answers some of your questions regarding how I choose images for the gallery, as well as what is included with each session/CD. If you have any other questions, please email me at firstname.lastname@example.org
Have a blessed day!
